archaeo.social is a scholarly collective that maintains open, federated social media services for archaeologists. We use free and open source software to promote a ‘do it yourself’ approach to scholarly communication and lessen our field’s dependence on centralised, proprietary platforms.

archaeo.social does not receive any institutional or grant funding. We are entirely supported by donations from members through our Open Collective.
